Atturaif, located approx. 30km north of Riyadh, was the capital of the First Saudi State, and is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. During the 18th and early 19th centuries, it was the centre of power for the House of Saudi and the spread of the Wahhabi Islamic Reform movement.
In conjunction with Tropman & Tropman Architects, LookEar was engaged to develop detailed interpretive, museological and exhibition design for 12 museum spaces and historic buildings within this historic site. Client: Arriyadh Development Authority |

The final designs were included as part of the tender documentation for the development of the whole site. LookEar’s involvement in the project continues as part of the Site Management Team, to ensure the quality and integrity of the final designs, fabrication and installation. The project is due to be completed in late 2016. |
