LookEar was commissioned to develop an interpretation plan for the reserve that addressed its important natural and cultural values, the many different types of visitors, and the reserve's significant management issues.
Key stories and messages were identified along with recommended interpretive forms.
A guiding principle for the interpretation plan was to integrate the interpretation into the recommendations of the associated management plan and to ensure that the interpretive forms were low key with minimal impact on the natural aesthetic of the area.
The project also involved an extensive community and stakeholder consultation process.
