Errinundra Old Growth Forest Walk

The Old Growth Forest Walk is located in the Gap Road Scenic Reserve adjoining Errinundra National Park. The forest includes massive Shining Gum trees estimated to be over 600 years old.

The interpretation features a series of low-key signs that describe the wildlife habitat found in these ancient forests, as well the traditional travel routes used by the Monero people including a small quartz deposit that was used for repairing tools and utensils.

LookEar was commissioned to consult with the local Aboriginal community, develop the text and artwork, and project manage the production of the signage.
