The full 104km walk takes around 8 days, with walk-in campsites along the way. Alternatively many people can access sections of the walk by car and undertake smaller segments of the walk as short walks and day walks.

LookEar was commissioned to develop a thematic interpretation plan that dealt with:

  • onsite static interpretation

  • the use of new technologies

  • face to face interpretation programs, and

  • off-site and pre-visit interpretation.

The wide variety of visitor profiles and behaviour patterns was a critical consideration in the framework, as was an extensive consultation process with stakeholder groups including the local Aboriginal community.
