LookEar was commissioned to develop a series of lookout and walking track interpretation signs and information boards along the new coastal walking track that links the township with the nearby national park.
The pristine coastal landscape was a strong influence in interpreting the values of the area. The signs feature engaging and succinct text, and interesting graphics and colour. A major effort was also made to ensure that the signs were sensitively located to minimise any visual intrusion.
LookEar was responsible for:
-
interpretive concepts and themes
-
content research and text
-
community consultation
-
artwork
-
project management
The project was developed in association with Mauhaus.
